Keeping your bilingual little ones entertained: Top Tip

On our television, the English language on Netflix children’s shows has mysteriously stopped working and all children’s shows are now in Spanish. Which is handy, really, because it assuages the guilt somewhat when you know they are developing their bilingualism. True story. So if you feel the need to turn to the digital babysitter to stop you all losing your marbles, do change the language settings in your children’s profile. Older children may complain at first but push through – within a few days they stop noticing and after a week you may even find that they automatically start speaking Spanish after watching a show in Spanish, even to non-Spanish speaking parents! They also learn some Latin Spanish vocabulary which is how you know it’s going in! speaking from experience.
